Streit and Candelino to Welcome Kerwin Bell as This Weeks Color Commentator

The Jacksonville Sharks and WCWJ CW-17 announce the addition of Kerwin Bell to the broadcast booth. Bell joins TJ Streit, voice of the Sharks, and sideline reporter Jennifer Candelino when the Sharks host the Cleveland Gladiators on Saturday, May 22nd on Sea Best Field at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The broadcast will air at 7:00 pm with kickoff at 7:05 pm.

Kerwin Bell, current head coach of the Jacksonville University Dolphins and former quarterback for the Florida Gators, will provide color commentary alongside play-by-play announcer, TJ Streit.

Bell, a long-time quarterback of professional football, is well known in Florida for his accomplishments as both player and coach. He quarterbacked for the University of Florida from 1984 to 1987 before being drafted to the NFL. Bell returned to the state of Florida in 2001 as head coach for Ocala’s Trinity Catholic H.S. where he went on to win a 2B state championship in 2006. Bell has since been the head coach for the JU Dolphins, where in 2008, he was named the Pioneer Football League Coach of the Year.

The Sharks and CW-17 are excited to welcome Bell to this week’s broadcast as the Sharks look to improve to (6-1) on the season.

The Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL). All home games will be played at Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.
