Sharks Hold Ultimate Finatic Contest

07/23/2010 4:10 PM -

The Jacksonville Sharks (10-4) are holding the first annual Ultimate Finatic Contest, presented by Jimmy Johns, leading up to the regular season finale against the Spokane Shock (12-2) Friday, July 30th.

The Sharks are honoring their fans - called Finatics - during the last regular season home game. Finatic Appreciation Night, presented by Bella Terraza Condos, is a theme geared toward thanking the people of Jacksonville for supporting the team through the inaugural season.

One lucky fan will be honored as the Jimmy Johns Ultimate Finatic. The winner will win a Sharks prize pack, taken through an exclusive tour of the facilities, including the locker room, before the game, meet Head Coach Les Moss and the Sharks players, and take part in the coin toss as an honorary captain.

“Our fans are the lifeblood of our franchise and we have the greatest fans in the league,” stated Andy Wenstrand, Sharks Director of Media Relations. “Each game we pack Sea Best Field with thousands and thousands of fans cheering their hearts out for their team. We are excited to have a game dedicated to these people who believed from the beginning that we would bring a championship to Jacksonville.”
