JACKSONVILLE –  The Jacksonville Sharks announced today that offensive lineman Montavis Mack has signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for the upcoming 2017 season.

Montavis Mack (6’1”,280) will enter his first season in arena football and his first season playing for the Jacksonville Sharks. As a native of Jacksonville, Mack attended Jacksonville University from 2011-2015 playing for coach Kerwin Bell. As a Dolphin Mack played in 39 games and was named a second team All-Pioneer League offensive lineman his senior year where he helped the JU to a 11-2 record. Mack also played defense for the Dolphins, contributing to 16 tackles, one for loss and had a fumble recovery.

Mack attended high school at Jackson High School and was a three-year starter. He helped the Tigers to two consecutive district titles with 11-1 records in his junior and senior seasons.
