SHARKS ADD OFFENSIVE LINEMAN / FULLBACK KEVIN MYERS![]()
JACKSONVILLE – Kevin Myers (6’6, 340) signs for his fifth year of arena football. Myers last played for the Portland Steel of the AFL in 2016, where he was an offensive lineman and fullback. Nicknamed “The Iron Giant,” Myers rushed 20 times for 56 yards and punched it in the endzone four times. In 2015, he signed with the Jacksonville Sharks early in 2015 but finished the season with the Las Vegas Outlaws where he split time as an offensive lineman and defensive lineman starting in 15 games for Las Vegas. Myers began the 2014 season with the Amarillo Venom of the Lone Star Football League where he played on both the offensive and defensive line before he signed with the Pittsburgh Power where he finished the year helping the Power to a regular season finale victory against the Philadelphia Soul and helped the Power enter the American Conference Semifinals against the Orlando Predators. Prior to the Power, Myers had a stint with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. Myers spent his rookie season in 2010, with Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz where he was used primarily as a blocker and as an eligible receiver catching eight passes for 99 yards and played in six games for the Yard Dawgz. |
