2011 SEASON OPENER HITS AIRWAVES

JACKSONVILLE, Fla - The Jacksonville Sharks are proud to announce Terry Norvelle as the radio voice of the Jacksonville Sharks for every game of the 2011 season. Terry will give the play-by-play broadcast each game on WJXL, 1010 XL.

Norvelle has over 15 years of experience in television and radio and he has been the presence behind many of Florida’s sporting events over the course of his career. Norvelle was a network in-studio analyst for FSU football post-game shows. He was also the cohost for the weekday radio show “Gators and More” on 1010XL. Norvelle’s broadcasting experiences include being hosting his own show for Sun Sports, working as a weekend sports anchor for FOX-30 in Jacksonville, working as a television analyst for SportsChannel Florida (now the Florida Sports Network) and working with numerous other television talk shows and radio programs across the state of Florida.

Norvelle is a graduate of Jacksonville University, where he played baseball for the Dolphins. He currently lives in the Jacksonville area and is the host of “TNT JAX” which airs on WCWJ, CW17 on Saturday evenings.

ABOUT THE SHARKS:
The Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL). The reigning South Division Champions are presented by Sea Best Seafood and play all home games on Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.
