The Jacksonville Sharks host the in-state and division rival Orlando Predators Saturday April 30, 2011 on Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veteran's Memorial Arena for Blood Red Night presented by The Blood Alliance with kickoff at 8pm EDT. The game will feature history in the making as Sharks legendary quarterback Aaron Garcia is three passing touchdowns shy of 1,000 career passing touchdowns - a feat no person in the history of football has accomplished.

The night will start with SharkFest, the presume festival held in front of the arena for every Sharks home game. SharkFest will start at 5pm and feature a new 30-foot Sharks inflatable slide, food samples from Sea Best Seafood and other festivities. Doors will open for Season Ticket Holders at 6:30pm, 7:00pm for the general public. Every fan will receive a Blood Towel courtesy of The Blood Alliance.

The game is the first match-up since the Predators ousted the Sharks in the 2010 playoffs in Jacksonville after the Sharks were crowded the South Division Champions. The Sharks can win their sixth straight game for the first time in franchise history while the Predators look to rebound from a defeat by the Spokane Shock in Orlando last week.

The Orlando Predators have recently purchased Daily billboards in the Jacksonville area with a message for Sharks fans. "Jacksonville sucks. See you rednecks on April 30. Love, the Predators." The public insult has outraged Sharks Nation, including managing partner Jeff Bouchy. "We simply need to fill the arena Sharks fans to both show how much class this town really has and to keep every Predator fan out of our seats."

The game will be broadcast live on 1010XL with Terry Norvelle giving the play-by-play. The NFL Network will carry the television broadcast, but will air the game on a tape delay due to the NFL Draft coverage. Tickets are still available for purchase starting as low as $11.
