TULSA, OKLA. – The Jacksonville Sharks (8-1) remain in the top spot of the Week 10 Coaches’ Poll, receiving 16 first place votes following their 79-27 blowout victory over the Iowa Barnstormers (2-7). Jacksonville earned its eighth consecutive victory with the only loss coming from Arizona (7-2) in Week 1. Veteran quarterback Aaron Garcia only tossed 17 balls and managed to throw for 227-yards and seven touchdowns in the win. The Sharks host the Georgia Force (5-4) in Week 11 on Saturday, May 21 at 7:35 p.m. EST. The teams met in Week 2, where the Sharks won, 71-57, at home.

The Arizona Rattlers earned two first place votes and remained in second place following a narrow loss, 49-50, to the Chicago Rush (6-3). Chicago kicker Chris Gould booted a 33-yard field goal with one second remaining to secure the Rush victory. The Rattlers have lost two of their previous three games, after starting the season at 6-0. Arizona will head to New Orleans (2-7) this week for NFL Network’s “Arena Football Friday”. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. EST.

Orlando (6-3) remains in third place, following a 56-26 victory over the Cleveland Gladiators (5-3). Quarterback Nick Hill earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after going 23-of-29 for 267 yards and six touchdowns in the victory. The Predators have a bye in Week 11 and will travel to Milwaukee (3-6) in Week 12.

The Chicago Rush climbed to the fourth spot of the Poll after their tight 50-49 win over the Rattlers. The Rush have a crucial division matchup this week against the fifth ranked Dallas Vigilantes (6-3). The Vigilantes dropped one spot following their loss to the defending ArenaBowl Champions, Spokane Shock. The matchup between Dallas and Chicago is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, May 22.

The San Jose SaberCats (5-4) fell one spot in the Poll after a 48-54 road loss to the Pittsburgh Power (5-4). Power quarterback Bernard Morris hooked up with Jason Willis for a 31-yard touchdown with 14 seconds remaining in the game to give the Power the narrow victory. San Jose now will face division rival, Utah (4-4), on Saturday.

The Cleveland Gladiators (5-3) dropped one spot to seventh, following a 56-26 road loss to the Orlando Predators. Cleveland looks to recover in Week 11, as they host the Philadelphia Soul (3-6) on Saturday, May 21 at 7:00 p.m. EST.

The Blaze remained in the ninth spot of the Poll following a home loss to the Mustangs, 53-65, last week. The loss was Utah’s first road defeat of the season. The Power rounded out the top ten for the second straight week, after their home victory over the SaberCats. Quarterback Bernard Morris and the Power have now won back-to-back games for the second time this season. The Power has a Week 11 bye.
