JACKSONVILLE, FLA – With training camp under way, the Jacksonville Sharks announced a scrimmage to take place against divisional rivals, the Orlando Predators. The joint practices will be held Wednesday, March 24, in Orlando on Thunder Field at the Citrus Bowl at 10am.

This scrimmage not only allows the Sharks to tune up against another opponent in preparation for the April 3 debut at Oklahoma City, it serves as the starting point of a long anticipated rivalry. The Jacksonville/Orlando rivalry matches more than just two great markets with a heavy passion for football. The match up involves brothers Jeff Bouchy, Jacksonville Sharks Managing Partner, against little brother Brett, the Orlando Predators Managing Partner.

Though the joint practice will involve a full scrimmage, it will not be considered a preseason game. The two teams square off for the first time Friday, April 16 for Jacksonville’s home opener.

The Jacksonville Sharks are members of the Arena Football League (AFL). All home games will be played at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The home season kicks off April 16th as the Sharks take on the Orlando Predators. Season tickets for the inaugural season of the Jacksonville Sharks are now available for as low as $45.
