The Jacksonville Sharks will be honored Friday, August 19, 2011 at Everbank Field during halftime of the Jacksonville Jaguars game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Jaguars will recognize the Jacksonville Sharks organization for bringing the first ever professional football championship to the city of Jacksonville. The halftime ceremony comes one day after Mayor Alvin Brown proclaimed August 18 Jacksonville Sharks Day.

"Being honored at half-time of the Jaguars game tonight is a great ending to our week of celebration," stated Sharks' Managing Partner Jeff Bouchy.  "We ask all Sharks fans to come out tonight and support the Jaguars and see your ArenaBowl Champion Sharks team one last time.  After tonight, the 2012 season starts in full-force and we look forward to the opportunity of winning another championship for our great city."
