SHARKS TRADE MARKEE WHITE TO LOS ANGELES

JACKSONVILLE - The 2013 South Division Champion Jacksonville Sharks announced Tuesday that the team has executed a trade with the Los Angeles KISS. In the deal, the Sharks acquired Claim Order Position #2 in exchange for WR Markee White and Claim Order Position #9.

The 30-year-old White was a regular fixture in the starting lineup during his lone season with the Sharks, catching 105 passes for 1,333 yards and 19 touchdowns during the 2013 regular season. White caught at least one touchdown pass in each of Jacksonville's first seven games, and added 21 receptions for 235 yards and six scores over the course of the team's two-game playoff run.

A native of Long Beach, California, White returns to his home state to play for one of the newest franchises in the Arena Football League. The four-year AFL veteran has also spent time with the Spokane Shock and the Arizona Rattlers.
