NEW ORLEANS - The Jacksonville Sharks (4-8) are in New Orleans this week for a matchup with the VooDoo (2-10) on Saturday, June 21. Kickoff from Smoothie King Center is set for 8:00 p.m.
This is the first of two meetings between the Sharks and VooDoo this season, as New Orleans will make the trip to Sea Best Field on July 14. Jacksonville holds a 5-1 edge in the all-time series, as the Sharks swept the VooDoo in a pair of matchups during the 2013 campaign. The Sharks enter this week two-and-a-half games behind the Tampa Bay Storm (7-6) for the fourth and final playoff spot in the American Conference with just six games to play, making this game a crucial one as the regular season enters its final third.
