Transaction Notes: Shyheim Battle signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for the 2026 season.
College: Battle attended North Carolina State. During his final season, he completed 30 solo tackles and 16 assisted tackles. He recorded one fumble recovery, two interceptions and defended four passes.
Personal: Shyheim is from Rocky Mount, North Carolina and attended Rocky Mount High School. Upon graduation, he attended his home state's university, North Carolina State. In 2024, he received a rookie mini camp invite from the New York Jets and tried out for the New Orelans Saints. He was assigned as a cornerback for the Frankfurt Galaxy of the European League of Football just one year later.
