JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Sharks (0-4) will enter week seven of the IFL (Indoor Football League) season at Desert Diamond Arena on Sunday, April 28th, against their former rivals, the Arizona Rattlers (2-3).
The Rattlers stayed home for their latest game against the San Diego Strike Force on April 14th. The Force sealed the game at 55-45 with WR Arthur Jackson III scoring a touchdown in the beginning of the fourth quarter. Despite this loss, WR Glen Gibbons had three receiving touchdowns and 94 receiving yards. QB Garrett Kettle passed for 18 yards with one touchdown. This is Kettle's first season with the Rattlers.
The Sharks enter this weekend 0-4 after a 35-61 loss against the Vegas Knight Hawks, keeping Vegas undefeated. Conflict arose with only four seconds left in the second quarter, as Jacksonville DB Jabari Gorman and Vegas WR Justin Collins were disqualified for the remainder of the game. WR Kamrin Solomon secured a touchdown in the start of the second half cutting into the Hawks lead. Kicker Frankie Onate continued his success and kicked for 290 yards in the game.
The Sharks are back on the road in hopes of sealing their first win in Glendale, Arizona. Kick off is at 6:05 PM.
