Transaction Notes: Khalil McClain re-signed with the Sharks for the 2025 season.
Professional: McClain played in the NFL for one season with the Miami Dolphins as a free agent. He first signed with the Sharks in 2023 and was with the championship team before his season-ending injury.
College: McClain spent one season at Tulane University as a backup quarterback. In 2018, he transferred to Hutchinson Community College where he took on a wide receiver position. In his first collegiate year as a wide receiver, he averaged 8.97 rushing yards and 16.74 receiving yards a game. After spending a year at Hutchinson, McClain transferred to Troy University in 2019 where he averaged 41.1 receiving yards a game in his two seasons there. He was named to the 2019 All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention Team.
Personal: McClain is from Valdosta, Georgia. He attended Creekside High School. In 2017, he committed to Tulane University.
