Jacksonville Sharks

Transaction Notes: Lacarea Pleasant-Johnson re-signed with the Sharks for the 2026 season.

Professional: Pleasant-Johnson had a season high of 6.5 tackles and one assist against San Antonio in 2025. He also recorded four solo tackles, four assists and one defended pass in the two other games he played last season. 

College: Pleasant-Johnson spent three seasons at the University of Utah, primarily on special teams. He transferred to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. After a year, he ended the season with three tackles. In 2023, Pleasant-Johnson transferred to Southern Utah University for the rest of his collegiate career. He totaled 72 interception yards and 54 tackles. 

Personal: Pleasant-Johnson is from Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Mountain Pointe High School. Pleasant-Johnson signed with the University of Utah in 2019.
