Transaction Notes: Lorenzo McCaskill signed with the Sharks for the 2026 season.

College: McCaskill attended the University of Lousiana where he recorded 40 tackles, 44 assisted tackles, one fumble recovery and three tackles for loss. He transferred to the University of Kansas for his fifth year where continued to excel by achieving 32 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles, one fumble recovery and defended four passes. 

Personal: Lorenzo is from Detroit, Michigan. He attended Southfield High School and signed with the University of Lousiana. Here, he earned the 2021 Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference and 2020 Third Team All-Sub Belt Confrence. These selective accolades combined with his dominating performance on the field led McCaskill to ultimately be selected for the XFL rookie draft.
