Jacksonville Sharks

Transaction Notes: Malik Jones signed with the Sharks for the 2025 season.

Professional: Jones played in the CFL for the Edmonton Elks. In his first season with the Sharks, Malik Jones appeared in 12 games. Proving himself to be a defensive powerhouse,  Jones recorded 34 solo tackles, 22 assisted tackles, 45 total tackles, 1-1 TFL/yds. He also contributed  6 completed interceptions, 9 defended passes,  and 2 fumble returns.

College: Malik attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College from 2020 to 2021 before transferring to Delta State in 2022. In 2022, he recorded 58 tackles and two interceptions. During his final year, Jones continued his success with 23 tackles and five interceptions. He was named an AP Division II All-American.

Personal: Malik is from Crystal Springs, Mississippi. He attended Crystal Springs High School.
