Biography
Transaction notes: Tre Pinkney has signed with the Jacksonville Sharks for the 2026 season.
Professional: Pinkney was invited to participate in the Atlanta Falcons local pro day prior to the 2025 NFL draft.
College: Pinkney began his collegiate career playing for Hutchinson Community College, helping to lead them to an 8-0 record and a national championship during the 2020 season. After two seasons, he moved to Coastal Carolina, where he got playing time both as a linebacker and as a part of special teams. He then transferred to Southern Miss for his final season in college.
Personal: The Atlanta, Ga. native was ranked as high as the No. 68-best prospect at inside linebacker in the Class of 2019 by 247Sports Composite after his senior year at Pebblebrook High School.
