Catherine Cavallo is a Jacksonville native whose love for football began long before her career with the Sharks. A former Sharks multimedia intern, Catherine spent two seasons (2016 and 2017) with the organization while still in high school — an experience that sparked her passion for sports media and set her career path in motion.
She went on to graduate summa cum laude from the University of North Florida in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in communications and double minors in sports management and leadership. During her time at UNF, Catherine served as the sports anchor for the university’s weekly TV program, Nest News, and interned with News4Jax and ITG Next. In her final semester, she also co-hosted In the Game, a local television show highlighting high school sports across Florida and Georgia. She was a proud member of the Hicks Honors College.
Since joining the Sharks’ front office, Catherine’s dedication and creativity have shone through — earning her the National Arena League's Best Media Relations Award in her first season.
Now entering her fourth season with the Sharks, Catherine continues to combine her hometown pride and passion for storytelling to elevate the team’s media presence.
Outside of work, she enjoys golfing, spending time with her fiancé and dog, and cheering on the Jaguars!
