Sharks Suffer Major Loss Against Blizzard

Box Score GREEN BAY, WI - Jacksonville could not keep up with the Green Bay Blizzard in their 75-43 loss. The Blizzard hosted us on Military appreciation night, sporting their American flag jerseys. The game started out fast for both offenses throughout the first quarter. Both teams kept the game close. Tyler Huff capitalized on rushing yards with three touchdowns in the first half.

Green Bay took over in the second quarter, setting the tone for the second half. Green Bay had three touchdowns and a deuce in the second quarter. There were efforts from Ka'ron Ashley, Jaedon Stoshak, and Larry McCammon to continue the scoring but the Sharks were limited to just one rushing touchdown and a field goal in the second quarter. The 1st half ended 33-24 in favor of the Blizzard.

The Sharks opened the third quarter with a quick score on two plays by Rogers and McCammon. Green Bay had an immediate answer. Sharks had trouble holding onto the ball and dealing with Green Bay's defense, leading to a 22-point deficit in the third. Jacksonville was able to get on the board twice in the fourth but it was not enough turn it around.

Huff and McCammon combined for five rushing touchdowns and over 100 yards. Rodgers had a touchdown and combined for 120 receiving yards with Ashley. The Sharks host the Quad City Steamwheelers with a chance to bounce back and gain in the playoff standings on Saturday,June 21 at 7:05pm im the Shark tank.
